Date & Time
Fiawna Forte
Listening to Fiawna Forté is like being stuck in a smoky time warp where Wanda Jackson, Elvis, Roy Orbison and The White Stripes all roll around on a sawdust floor damp with sweat and beer. Throw in a reverb thick hollow body Gibson, throaty deep vocals and a fearless edge and youve got Fortés unique and often frenetic version of rock&roll. While rooted in rock&roll, her songwriting often sounds inspired by the darkness and introspection found in the likes of Tom Waits and Nick Cave.
